Cavik Insurance was founded in 2017 by Alexandra Lysik and her mother, Robin Cavanaugh, with a simple goal: make insurance easier to understand and provide the kind of personal service people deserve.

What started as two women with a dream has grown into a team of eight serving clients across multiple states. Robin retired in 2022, but the vision they built together still guides Cavik today.

Owner

As the owner of Cavik Insurance, Alexandra brings more than 15 years of insurance experience and is passionate about providing clients with clear, personalized education so they can confidently choose coverage that fits their individual needs. She helps clients simplify home, auto, business, and specialty insurance while leading Cavik Insurance, proudly recognized as Wilmington Magazine’s 2024 Best Insurance Agency in Wilmington. Alexandra has also been honored as a WILMA Women to Watch finalist and a Wilmington 40 Under 40 honoree.

Hope keeps the Cavik office running smoothly, using her business management background, NC insurance licenses, and 5 years of experience to help clients find coverage that fits their lives.

Danielle supports clients and the Cavik team with a thoughtful eye for detail, a UNCW psychology background, and her NC Property and Casualty license.

Christina brings world-traveling customer service experience to helping Cavik clients find the right personal insurance coverage from the start.

Nikki brings 13+ years of NC Personal Lines experience to helping clients protect their homes, vehicles, and everyday peace of mind with coverage that fits just right.

Mikaela brings 5+ years of insurance experience in both account management and sales to help Cavik clients find personal coverage that fits their coastal Carolina lifestyle.

With more than 10 years of customer service experience, including six years in the insurance industry, Chad is passionate about helping clients find the right coverage through personalized service, clear guidance, and lasting relationships.

With over 11 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, Joy is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to every client she works with. She's passionate about community engagement and stays actively involved with local organizations and her church, always looking for ways to give back.

Award-winning smarty paws, Charlie uses his big brain and “Smartest Dog” credentials to sniff out solutions and keep the team on its toes.

Lovable, loyal, and always ready to brighten the room, Nacho specializes in tail wags, morale boosts, and making everyone feel welcome.

Our beloved Rosie will always be part of the Cavik family. She brought endless joy, unwavering loyalty, and plenty of personality to our team.
